Brief History
Bishop D.D Cornelius Sim was born on Sept. 16, 1951, in Seria. He was ordained Brunei's first local priest on Nov. 26, 1989, the feast of Christ the King by Bishop Anthony Lee Kok Hin of Miri (Malaysia) in Seria's Church of the Immaculate Conception and was installed as Prefect of the Apostolic Vicariate of Brunei Darussalam on February 23, 1998. He was appointed Vicar Apostolic of Brunei on Oct. 20, 2004. His episcopal ordination was on Jan. 21, 2005.
